taquiner = to tease, to dig at, to tantalize

brouiller = to make cloudy, to scramble, to shuffle, to befuddle, to run afoul of someone

époustouflante = mind-bloggling, amazing, mind-blowing

pantoufle = slipper

brimer = to bully, to aggravate

tramer = to hatch, to plot, to weave

lampée(s) = gulps i.e. of water

trempé(e) = soaked

tranchant(e) = to be sharp, forthright, curt

flâner = to stroll, to loaf, to roam, to sashay

lover = to coil, to wind, to curl up
