Pirandellism

Pirandellism: the idea that there are as many truths as there are points of view. The word was coined from the name of Italian author Luigi Pirandello. I found this interesting because, at heart, all Unitarian Universalists are pirandellists. We have to be or it doesn't work. Our "doctrine," if you will, is that there are many truths and that what I believe to be true is not the same as what you believe to be true, but that that's OK. I really like this idea. Not only do I like this idea, but I also believe it. Not to mention it will mean that, seeing as there are many truths, I'm always right. ;P-

I love this. Also, would you mind if I used your description of yourself in an application for college? It sounds weird, but I really liked it. Also have you heard of Contemplative Thinking? Look at Arthur Zojanc

Which description of myself did you mean? And how would you use it? If you were thinking of using it to describe yourself, then I think I would mind--though I'd have no way of knowing if you use it or not and can't really stop you! (Keep in mind, however, that if you don't quote and cite whatever you use it would count as pladgerism and you could be kicked OUT of the college for that.) Secondly, it's always better to come up with your own material out of yourself because that reflects how awesome you are! :) If you're worried that you can't come up with something on your own use quotes and other descriptions as inspiration to bounce off of. However, I think that you can come up with your own unique description. I'm sure you're awesome and you should display that instead of trying to paste someone else over yourself.
(If you were thinking of using my description in a different way than I'm assuming you want to use it, let me know and maybe I'll approve it!)
And finally, thank you! I'm glad you loved my self-description! (And my post on pirandellism.)

Oh, also I've never heard of Contemplateive thinking or Arthur Zojanc. At least, I don't believe I have. I will definitely look it up right now; it sounds interesting. :)
